Rhona Silver
Rhona Silver is an American entrepreneur and prominent figure in catering industry. She came into limelight for owning the largest catering hall Huntington Townhouse spread over 150,000 sq.ft. on 18 acres, in United States of America which hosted gala events for Presidents. Heads of States, Governors, and World famous celebrities. She is co-founder of Caterbid.com an internet based catering company that connects anyone planning a party or event with local caterers. She is the recipient of several awards including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

She attended Hofstra University School of Law in the year 1978-80 before finally taking up catering as full-time profession.

Silver started with small catering company which gradually spread to a few cities. In 1996, Ms. Silver acquired a 150,000 sq.ft. property spread on 18 acres of land at the price of around $7.6 million and Huntington Townhouse, an enormous event catering facility that hosted many high-profile events. Subsequently, Silver and two of her children launched (caterbid.com ), an online venue to obtain quotes for event services from multiple suppliers.
